PLZ anet can we have keyring or key pouch
If i noticed correctly there will be several different keys linked to specific areas. Which means we have to reserve several spots to store or carry them.
I would love to see a small pouch added to carry a few sets of keys with you.

think of it this way deviance...
you would be totaly pissed if you accidentaly salvaged your keys or sold them to vendor (assuming you could do that in first place)
they dont have to be much, just one key-ring for generic chest keys and one key ring or a key pouch like the belt pouch, for the special area keys.
and the key ring is one per person, and holds up to 10 keys.
think the OP isnt complaing about the keys themselves, just asking/sugesting a way to help carry them more effectively.

speaking of which i have already sold 1 key to the vendor via double clicked the wrong item; atleast it wasnt my crystalline sword.
and keys can be droped by normal badies; not like the "rare" scrolls.
I want to carry more than 10 scrolls at once. I want a hot key for them too but i know it isnt gunna happen.

I was really asking for a way to caary some with me without having to scarifice a lot of valuable backpack space.
You say you KNOW things are not going to happen? How do you know?
Did you knwo of all the changes in advance this time? How many of them did you know would not happen before?
The hotkey for scrolls seems like a good idea and may well be in development. Like it was explained by someone in a thread on toggleable capes it is not just coding that is required to do that but an interface change as well. The same goes for a button like that. It may just be more difficult to implement than we think .. so it would need more time.
When i made the post i meant the pouch to be for keys only ... it might as well be a small use-able-item pouch that could also carry scrolls with like 6-8 slots or so, hotkeyable in some way so you can use it without having to open your pack.

if keys are affected by how many people buy (anyone confirm or deny this) then this would not be good.
As some of the richer people could stack a whole shed load of them, rasing the price for others.

Hotkeys for an item that isnt there to begin with isnt a smart devoleping move; plus theres 6 scrolls now and ALL F1-12 are being used; what hot key would you use in game while you battle? Alt + Clover leafe + space bar? or just double click? (side joke for apple users)

the prices will not be effected by the buy/sell ratio because they are bought from merchants and their prices do not fluctuate at all.
anyway when you use a key you will have a new space for an item because it will be used up (from what i have read) so no problems in that area. why not put them in your last bag? thats what i do with any ecto or shards i come across

@kazahana
I was in gates of kryta and the merchant sold a kryta key for 200g.
This leads me to believe there may be a Wildes key, a Shiverpeak key etc.
They can all be stacked but it does requires several spots in inventory

or maybe a big chain saw that rips the chest if half, but you have a 50% chance of destroying everything in the chest if your chainsaw mastery is < 5

As soon as I saw it I knew different key types for each area were going to be a pain.
They introduce superior salvage and identification kits which serve no purpose other than to free up inventory slots then introduce a dozen different types of key which have no purpose other than to use up inventory slots.
I suggest the game should have 2 types of lock and key (normal and superior) and chests in the game can have multiple locks of each type. That way the cost of opening chests in different areas can be adjusted without clogging up player inventories.
ANet keep saying how they monitor these forums and value player feedback, why can't they run some of their hairbrain ideas like this one past players before they impliment them?

I bought a key shortly after the first update, and again just now. The price of keys does NOT seem to change, so this is not an issue. "Buying up" keys is pointless.
Also, keys of the same type stack, so those kinds, effectively, only take up one spot. If you're only going into a certain area, it makes sense to ONLY bring keys of that area... no need to go around buying every key you see, because they won't be useful everywhere.
A keypouch is interesting, and I'm not disagreeing with the idea entirely, but lets see how it affects gameplay before we ask for something like this.

Confirm Shiverpeaks key and Miners key.
As for stackability of identical keys, I haven't checked.

Just use your inventory with a lil brain power and (a) you'll never accidentally sell them & (b) if two slots in inventory =taking up too much space......you have far to few worries in life.
But hey, I'll go along with the suggestion :-)

well, say there were 10 area keys for area chests...wouldnt it make sence to make a key puch with at least 10 slots, one for each key?
and poping them in the last bag..hm, only usefull if you dont have a last bag full of materials, and you dont have a stash with oyur dyes and keepsies items in, and you havent filled your least used characters backpack, bags and inventry FULL up with stuff.
and, befor anyone says, well just sell all that crap, i dont see why i should have to, especialy when its goood stuff that i am waiting to use on decent damage wepons that have no properties....
they realy need to add purchaseable storeage slots on a scratch card....a quick tenner for them, a quick 5 extra slots for me

Key Bag
I think that having a bag that only takes up one inventory spot and holds all your keys of differnt types would solve so many problems. Keys are a good idea, but there are so many types of them.
